Our Mission Statement
Monica Jensen Foundation is a 501( c ) (3) charitable non-profit organization whose purpose is to raise awareness, educate, and provide funding for research and treatment of Melanoma.
 

Fighting the Fight...In Memory of Monica (Walz) Jensen

Did you know that Melanoma Cancer affects approximately 4% of the nearly 79% of all skin cancer deaths? There will be about 56,000 new cases of skin cancer diagnosed this year alone. Monica Jensen is part of these statistics.

Monica was diagnosed in 2003 with Malignant Ocular Melanoma. After what was thought successful removal of the cancer, she was able to live a happy and enjoyable life as a wife and mother of three young girls. Then in September of 2006, she received the devastating news that the cancer had returned...MONICA'S STORY
